1 cup (250 ml) plain yogurt
2 tablespoons (30 ml) brown sugar
1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract

How To Cook

  • Place a paper coffee filters in a small strainer and set it over a cup or bowl. Spoon the yogurt into the filter and let it drain. Refrigerate it for one hour or more. This process will drain out some of the liquid for a richer and creamier dip. Remember, the longer you drain, the thicker the yogurt will become.

1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust

  • Beat cream cheese, 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 tablespoon milk in a large bowl until it turns smooth.

Ingredients 1-1/2 cups wheat bran
1 cup non-fat milk
1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1 egg
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup blueberries

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F or 190 degrees C and grease muffin cups or use paper muffin liners.
  • Now, mix wheat bran and milk together, and let it stand for 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix apple sauce, egg, brown sugar, and vanilla together. Beat in bran mixture. Mix all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and sift it. Stir into bran mixture until blended. Fold blueberries in it and scoop the mixture into muffin cups.
  • Bake the muffin’s mixture in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until tops spring back when lightly tapped.
